Camaraderie, competition, challenge. These things run in our blood. From boyhood, this is our native language. Every man intrinsically “gets” these, and Fight Club employs these concepts to awaken Christian men from mediocrity and strengthen them emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually in becoming more like Christ.
Fight Club is not about weekly meetings or bible studies, but rather a ten-week journey where men are required to complete weekly challenges at home, but within the context of community and accountability. These challenges include spiritual, relational, intellectual, and physical assignments, along with Scripture memory and opportunities to try something new, sometimes intimidating, sometimes just for fun.
Fight Club begins with a late night kick-off, one that is filled with competition, challenge, intrigue, & fun. It is an opportunity for those attending to learn more about the ministry and decide whether they want to “sign up” for the ten-week challenge.
There is special graduation at the end of the ten weeks for those who accomplished the ten-week challenge. Men are honored and awarded a Fight Club t-shirt and certificate.
